About the job:

This role is ideal for candidate working closely with management and executive stakeholders, this role is responsible for translating business goals into technical and organizational strategies while leading the internal software engineering function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the in-house software development team from the ground up, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, task allocation, and performance management.

• Drive the transition of software products and systems from external vendors to the internal engineering team.

• Lead system operations, new feature development, product enhancement initiatives, and long-term platform scalability.

• Define technical architecture, evaluate and select technologies, conduct code reviews, and ensure software quality, maintainability, and development standards.

• Plan and manage sprint execution, task breakdown, delivery progress, and continuous improvement of development workflows and engineering processes.

• Design, introduce, and embed AI-assisted development practices across the team, including:

  • AI-powered coding support

  • Documentation automation

  • AI-assisted review and productivity workflows

• Collaborate closely with leadership and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and operational strategies.

• Support additional technical and operational initiatives as assigned.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role..

• Proven experience building, scaling, or organizing engineering teams, including defining processes, hiring standards, and development frameworks.

• Experience managing multiple developers and driving day-to-day engineering operations effectively.

• Strong project planning, task management, prioritization, and problem-solving skill

• Technical requirements:

  • Mobile Development: React Native (TypeScript)

  • Frontend Development: Vue.js / Nuxt.js

  • Backend Development: Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs

  • Database Technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL

  • Familiarity with:

    • Git

    • CI/CD pipelines

    • Docker

    • Software architecture concepts such as MVC, Clean Architecture, and Microservice.

• Fluent in English.
