This role is responsible for building and leading the internal software engineering function while working closely with senior management and executive stakeholders. The successful candidate will translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions, oversee software development operations, and drive the transition from outsourced development to an in-house engineering model.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Strategy & Roadmap

Define and maintain a regional ERP strategy aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

Develop and manage multi-year ERP roadmaps, including implementations, upgrades, process harmonization, and potential system convergence across countries.

Assess current and future ERP platforms to ensure scalability, operational efficiency, and suitability for a fast-growing business environment.
ERP Governance & Change Management

Establish and lead ERP governance frameworks, including structured change request management, testing cycles, release management, and prioritization processes involving both business and IT stakeholders.

Ensure consistent ERP standards, documentation, policies, and best practices across the region, including user access and security governance.

Drive effective change management practices to support system adoption and process alignment.
ERP Implementation & Lifecycle Management

Lead regional ERP implementation and rollout projects across multiple countries, coordinating internal teams and external partners.

Oversee the full ERP lifecycle, including deployment, stabilization, optimization, support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage relationships with ERP vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators to ensure successful project delivery and service quality.
Business Partnership & Process Improvement

Act as a strategic partner to regional and country leadership teams to align ERP capabilities with business priorities.

Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions and functional enhancements.

Identify opportunities to expand ERP capabilities beyond finance into areas such as operations, supply chain, analytics, reporting, and process automation.

Promote data-driven decision-making through effective ERP utilization and business insights.
User Adoption & Capability Building

Drive ERP adoption and user engagement across regional teams.

Develop training strategies, user support frameworks, and key-user networks to strengthen ERP capabilities across ASEAN markets.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence enabled by ERP systems and digital tools.
Required Skills
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in ERP implementation, ERP management, or digital transformation programs, preferably within regional or multi-country organizations.

Hands-on experience with leading ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent enterprise systems.

Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Project Management.

Proven experience establishing ERP governance structures and change management frameworks.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.

Fluent in English.
