The Company: Our client is a well-established international manufacturing and distribution organization operating in the lighting and consumer products sector, with a strong focus on operational excellence, quality standards, and customer satisfaction across global markets.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Ensure warehouse operations meet quality objectives and strict delivery timelines, including a two-day Pick-to-Ship target.
- Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, providing regular feedback, motivation, and performance management.
- Plan and manage workflow, manpower allocation, space utilization, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor daily warehouse activities such as quality assurance, logistics flow, floor productivity, and shipping performance.
- Ensure safe and effective use of warehouse equipment, enforcing safety regulations and leading by example.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, inventory controls, and administrative reporting.
- Manage warehouse budgets and control operational costs while supporting profitability targets.
- Coordinate delivery support when required and ensure smooth fulfillment operations.
- Review operational performance, analyze productivity and loss prevention data, and develop actionable improvement plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment in line with company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to set warehouse and team goals aligned with business objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree: in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of warehouse or operations management experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management processes, inventory control, and fulfillment operations.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and pride in work quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with scanning systems is a strong advantage.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Language: Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
