Role & Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Generalist Support
- Support day-to-day HR activities including onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, and employee lifecycle events.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and internal standards.
- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
- Support line managers in disciplinary processes, employee relations, and grievance handling.
- Coordinate staff movements, promotions, transfers, and contract renewals.
Payroll & Compensation
- Oversee monthly payroll processing in coordination with Finance and external payroll vendors (if applicable).
- Ensure accuracy of attendance records, OT claims, variable payments, and statutory deductions.
- Monitor changes affecting payroll such as benefits, resignations, and salary adjustments.
- Stay updated on local labor law and tax regulations affecting payroll.
- Prepare payroll reports, analytics, and audit support documents.
HR Projects & Initiatives
- Assist in rolling out HR engagement initiatives, training, and performance review cycles.
- Collaborate on internal HR projects (e.g., digitization, process improvement, diversity & inclusion).
- Support internal communication and change management across retail teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in Retail, FMCG, or similar fast-paced industries.
- Solid knowledge of local labor law and payroll practices.
- Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage both frontline and office staff.
- Proactive, well-organized, and capable of working independently.
