Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, tax projections, and other financial documents related to taxes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Monitor changes in taxation regulations and ensure that the company’s compliance is up to date.
- Analyze and recommend efficient methods to optimize the company’s tax strategy.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accurate and timely filing of taxes.
- Ensure that the company is adequately capitalized by maintaining appropriate levels of cash and investment.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the tax functions and develop plans for improvement.
- Ensure accounting data for tax preparation is kept updated timely and accurately
- Control tax calendar and ensure all kind of tax reports are submitted on time
- To be in charge of tax accounting policies, and standard operational procedures of the tax team to operate smoothly and properly
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting and tax experience working within the tax function of a large corporation or a public accounting firm
- Experience working in Nightlife/F&B is a strong asset.
- Masters degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Sales Tax.
- Experience in preparation of corporate tax returns, income tax provision, and value added tax and other taxation schemes.
- Strong knowledge of common computer applications and accounting and tax-related programs.
