The Company: Our client is one of the leading multinational corporations in FMCG in Vietnam.
Role & Responsibilities:
Supervising and ensuring compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PIT, Customs, etc.) across all branches and sites of the assigned business in Vietnam.
Staying updated on regulatory changes that may impact company operations.
Creating and implementing policies and procedures to comply with local and national regulations.
Handling the acquisition and renewal process of licenses, permits, and registrations necessary for the assigned business operations.
Maintaining an updated database of all licenses and permits.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and agreements, such as vendor contracts and service agreements,.
Ensuring contract compliance with tax regulations and minimizing potential company risks.
Government Relations Establishment: Cultivating positive relationships with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
Serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding tax matters.
Maintaining organized records of all tax-related documents and communications.
Generating regular reports on tax activities and updates for senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
Demonstrated experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar capacity.
Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Detail-oriented with proficient analytical capabilities.
Fluency in both written and verbal English and Vietnamese.
Willingness to travel, as and when required.
