2. Role & Responsibilities

Procurement
-
Manage supply chain operations including shipping, logistics, and distribution to ensure business continuity.

Negotiate with vendors, validate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and legal standards.

Collaborate with sourcing plants to optimize planning and supply efficiency.
-
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages, excess, or obsolescence.
-
Track shipments end‑to‑end and maintain visibility on forecast inventories.
-
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and streamline processes.

Logistics Operations
-
Coordinate imports with 3PLs, customs, government agencies, and transporters.
-
Select optimal transportation routes to reduce costs.
-
Control detention and demurrage charges through effective shipping practices.
-
Drive logistics budgeting, process coordination, and data consistency.
-

Business Finance
-
Monitor inventory control in line with business plans.
-
Compare carrying costs of inventory to optimize resources.
-
Provide 6–9 month forecasts to finance.
-
Track credit payment terms for third‑party purchases.
-

S&OP (Interim Role)
-
Validate inventory needs for purchase requisitions.
-
Act as the single point of contact between sales and operations to rationalize demand planning.

3. Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
-
6–8 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, preferably with project procurement and contract management.

Hands‑on experience with international logistics, export/import documentation, inventory control, and 3PL warehousing.

Strong knowledge of Order‑to‑Cash processes and SCM systems.
-
Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
-
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP preferred).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate across functions.
- Fluent in English; Chinese communication is a plus
