Role & Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy:
Develop and implement an effective end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure the seamless flow of medical devices from manufacturing to distribution.
Align supply chain goals with overall business objectives, emphasizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Vendor Management:
Lead relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels, balancing the need for product availability with the goal of minimizing holding costs.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and excess stock situations.
Logistics and Distribution:
Optimize logistics processes to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce lead times.
Collaborate with distribution partners to streamline the supply chain and ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.
Quality Assurance:
Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement and maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the supply chain.
Mitigate risks related to product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to supply chain management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
Implement best practices and stay abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in senior supply chain roles within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical device general supply chains.
Understand Business Planning, Demand Forecasting, Sales & Operation Planning.
Proficient in using SAP/S4 Hana system
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
