Job description

The Company:

Our client is an iconic Medical Equipment brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

 Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy:

    • Develop and implement an effective end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure the seamless flow of medical devices from manufacturing to distribution.

    • Align supply chain goals with overall business objectives, emphasizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Lead relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

    • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Oversee inventory levels, balancing the need for product availability with the goal of minimizing holding costs.

    • Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and excess stock situations.

  • Logistics and Distribution:

    • Optimize logistics processes to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce lead times.

    • Collaborate with distribution partners to streamline the supply chain and ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement and maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the supply chain.

    • Mitigate risks related to product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.

    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to supply chain management.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.

    • Implement best practices and stay abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in senior supply chain roles within the medical devices or healthcare industry.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical device general supply chains.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
