The Company:

Our client is one of the leading industrial brand with significant ambitions to scale their Vietnam business to the next level.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for the clients. You will work closely with clients, sales manager, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and resolve technical issues effectively.

  1. Technical Support:

    • Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of products and systems.

    • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop custom solutions based on customer requirements.

    • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for customers to ensure proper product usage.

  2. Installation and Commissioning:

    • Travel to customer sites internationally to supervise and assist with the installation and commissioning of products.

    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines during the installation process.

    • Collaborate with on-site contractors and technicians to address any technical issues and ensure smooth installation.

  3. Maintenance and Repairs:

    • Perform routine maintenance activities on product to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to products and systems.

    • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to develop maintenance schedules and implement corrective actions promptly.

  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and support.

    • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations of solutions or system upgrades.

    • Proactively address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records accurately and promptly.

    • Maintain comprehensive records of service activities, including customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions applied.

    • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding service activities, project status, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a service engineer or in a similar technical role, preferably in the automation, analytical industry.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Good English communication
