Role & Responsibilities:
As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for the clients. You will work closely with clients, sales manager, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and resolve technical issues effectively.
Technical Support:
Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of products and systems.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop custom solutions based on customer requirements.
Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for customers to ensure proper product usage.
Installation and Commissioning:
Travel to customer sites internationally to supervise and assist with the installation and commissioning of products.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines during the installation process.
Collaborate with on-site contractors and technicians to address any technical issues and ensure smooth installation.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance activities on product to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to products and systems.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to develop maintenance schedules and implement corrective actions promptly.
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations of solutions or system upgrades.
Proactively address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records accurately and promptly.
Maintain comprehensive records of service activities, including customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions applied.
Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding service activities, project status, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
Proven experience as a service engineer or in a similar technical role, preferably in the automation, analytical industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
