Senior Sales Engineer - Industrial Products | Thermal Power Sector

We are seeking a high-impact Senior Sales Engineer to join a leading multinational industrial solutions provider. This role focuses on driving business growth within the Thermal Power sector, delivering advanced technical solutions and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across power plants and EPC contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve assigned targets within the Thermal Power segment
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including power plants, EPCs, and industrial stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in assigned territory
• Provide technical consultation and customized solutions based on customer requirements
• Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closing
• Manage and update sales pipeline actively in CRM system
• Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and seminars to promote solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams (application, service, project) to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor project timelines and ensure successful delivery aligned with customer expectations
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, Instrumentation or related fields)
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits and project follow-up

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales within industrial sectors
• Strong exposure to Thermal Power plants or related industries (energy, utilities, heavy industry)
• Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and key accounts
• Solid understanding of industrial processes, instrumentation, or analytical solutions is a strong advantage
• Experience working with EPC contractors or large-scale industrial projects is preferred
