Senior Sales Engineer
About the job
Manage full sales cycle for industrial automation projects, from opportunity development and solution consulting to proposal preparation, negotiation, contract closing, and project handover. Build strong relationships with end-users, consultants, and EPCs.

Our client is a global leader in industrial automation and control systems, serving manufacturing and process industries worldwide. They are expanding their project sales team in Vietnam.
2. Role & Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities (Greenfield and Migration projects)

Manage project sales pipeline from lead qualification to deal closing
-
Maintain sales forecasts and updates in CRM
-
Understand customer technical requirements and propose automation solutions
-
Prepare and deliver technical/commercial presentations, proposals, and demos
-
Build strong relationships with End-Users, Consultants, and EPCs
-
Prepare proposals including scope, pricing, BOM, timeline, and deliverables
-
Coordinate with engineering, operations, finance, and other internal teams
-
Support RFQ/RFP responses and contract negotiations
-
Ensure smooth project handover after contract award
-
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
3. Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Control, Mechatronics, or related field

Experience in technical sales, project sales, or automation solutions
-
Good knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC, and industrial automation systems
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
-
Good English communication skills (spoken & written)
-
Japanese or Korean is an advantage
-
Willing to travel and visit customers regularly

Preferred industry experience: Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Metal & Mining, EV, Data Center, Railway, Semiconductor, Electronics, or Biomaterial
