The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of high-quality Sanitaryware solutions, dedicated to enhancing culinary experiences through innovative products.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and determine competitive solutions, exercising creativity and autonomy.
- Demonstrate familiarity with category manufacturing processes, drive costs, and construct category cost structures.
- Lead complex projects or smaller multi-location initiatives and manage supplier performance.
- Supervise sourcing processes for the successful execution of sourcing projects and plans.
- Select vendors and conduct performance reviews as part of vendor management.
- Ensure adherence to processes and timely delivery as per specifications.
- Aid in reviewing project proposals with management to estimate costs, schedules, and activity requirements.
- Apply established performance measures to monitor work products against objectives.
- Regular interaction with Production Control, Engineering, and Quality Assurance in related plants.
- Frequent collaboration with Marketing and Research & Development functions.
- Regular engagement with global faucet suppliers.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree preferred; essential ability to engage with engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Understanding of contract law is advantageous.
- Proficient knowledge of commodity product technology, particularly in brass, zinc, and stainless steel.
- Strong procurement and project management skills, along with organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in English is essential; adept communication and coordination abilities.
- Competency in computer skills and data analysis is preferred.
