The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Manager position will have extensive experience in finance or FP&A operations within multinational corporations. With a solid foundation in accounting, finance, or economics, you will have the expertise to drive financial success within the food and beverage industry. Proficiency in modeling and presenting data will be crucial for interpreting and communicating relevant accounting policies. Effective communication skills in both English and Vietnamese are essential for liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, quick learning ability, flexibility, and strong time management skills will ensure success in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities:
• Drive process improvements to streamline month-end closing speed and accuracy through leadership initiatives.
• Support cross-functional teams by presenting and interpreting relevant accounting policies and applying insights to operational matters.
• Collaborate with Tax/Audit departments to oversee statutory audits and tax compliance.
• Issue timely and accurate monthly financial reports for the Division head.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial statements for legal entities as required.
• Conduct monthly audits to track brand budgets within the group.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures as necessary.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and devise action plans to address identified gaps.
• Recruit and manage talent to meet financial and accounting objectives.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of suitable financial and accounting systems, architecture, and analytics tools.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; CFA or ACCA certification is advantageous.
• Three to five years of professional services experience from a Big 4 firm is preferred.
• Five to seven years of experience in multinational finance or FP&A operations in Vietnam, with managerial experience in retail, consumer goods, FMCG, or distribution sectors.
• Knowledge of cash management principles and banking systems/processes is necessary.
• Strong modeling and presentation skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese are essential.
• Quick learning ability, flexibility, and strong time management skills are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are crucial.
