Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist

The Company:

A global independent pharmaceutical company with strong international presence, dedicated to developing innovative healthcare solutions across various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting principles, and Group strategies (e.g., inventory, cash flow, audits).

• Handle year-end statutory closing and ensure monthly HQ reporting deadlines are met.

• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts, manage payables/receivables, and reconcile banking transactions.

• Oversee vendor payments, customer collections, and resolution of banking/payment issues.

• Maintain accurate financial statements, fixed asset records, and assist with payroll administration.

• Conduct financial analysis (Sales, Opex, Capex, P&L) and track operational costs against budget.

• Support business growth through finance function improvements, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

• Manage AR and credit control processes for Vietnam and export markets, including customer follow-ups and credit evaluations.

• Prepare and present finance reports (aging, credit exposure, collections) and support global finance projects.

• Assist management with ad-hoc financial tasks, audits, and performance analysis.

Key Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cashflow), and internal controls.

• Familiarity with Vietnamese GAAP and local tax regulations.

• Fluent in Vietnamese (native) and English.

• Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and ability to work independently.

• Deadline-driven with good time management and follow-through skills.

• Excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
