Senior Demand Planning Manager

Job Purpose
Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturing group with regional operations and a broad, SKU-driven product portfolio. Operating in a demand-led planning environment similar to FMCG and consumer goods organizations, the business requires strong leadership in demand planning and close cross-functional alignment to ensure commercial plans translate into executable supply outcomes.
This role leads global forecasting and demand planning activities, acting as the key planning partner across Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations. The position plays a critical leadership role in driving forecast discipline, improving planning processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Role & Responsibilities
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead and develop a team of forecast analysts, setting priorities and ensuring disciplined execution
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to align demand plans
• Lead regular forecasting and planning reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Drive change management initiatives and foster a collaborative planning culture
Forecasting & Planning
• Lead global demand forecasting across product portfolios
• Monitor forecast accuracy and assess impact on inventory and service levels
• Manage forecasting for promotions, campaigns, and market-driven demand
• Analyze demand trends and adjust forecasts to improve planning reliability
• Support short-term and long-term business planning activities
Process Improvement & Planning Excellence
• Develop and track forecasting KPIs and performance metrics
• Drive planning process improvements and standardization
• Support supply chain planning enhancement initiatives
• Ensure continuous improvement across forecasting and planning activities
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related fields; MBA preferred
• 5–8+ years of experience in supply chain planning / demand forecasting
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience
• Experience in multinational, SKU-driven environments preferred
• Strong analytical capability with hands-on exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python)
• Solid understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and S&OP processes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English
