The Company:

A regional consumer goods group with a strong international footprint is seeking a dynamic Director of International Business Expansion to drive its next phase of global growth. This is a senior commercial leadership position suited for a results-driven professional with cross-border experience and a strong understanding of how to build and scale business in diverse markets.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies to expand the company’s presence across key regions. This includes building commercial partnerships, identifying new growth opportunities, and leading initiatives that strengthen long-term business performance and brand recognition on the international stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with corporate growth goals.
• Identify and evaluate new markets, channels, and partnerships to accelerate global expansion.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage strategic relationships with international partners and distributors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings, pricing, and programs for local market relevance.
• Monitor business performance and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
• Build and coach a capable, performance-driven international team.
• Ensure operational and regulatory compliance across all managed markets.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in international business development, commercial leadership, or regional expansion, ideally within the consumer goods sector.
• Proven success in driving market entry and building long-term growth across multiple countries.
• Open to expatriate professionals with prior experience living and working in emerging global market, particularly those familiar with Vietnam’s business environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex partnerships.
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated by growth and collaboration.
