Role & Responsibilities:
• Overseeing, developing, and executing commercial and marketing strategies in Vietnam. The primary responsibilities include managing monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring profitability, and developing customer accounts based on their needs.
• Lead business development to meet revenue and profit targets.
• Achieve annual and monthly sales plans in line with business forecasts.
• Provide strategic direction and budgeting for commercial activities.
• Analyze market segments and competitor activities to determine trends and new product strategies.
• Understand business issues and deliver market analysis.
• Network with end-users, key stakeholders, and organizations.
• Develop business and marketing plans integrating product lines, sales, and marketing strategies.
• Manage relationships with existing customers and develop new ones.
• Implement business solutions to increase volumes and profitability.
• Utilize sales reports to identify and resolve issues.
• Generate monthly reports on-budget performance, competition analysis, and market conditions.
• Plan and deliver forecasts for the business area.
• Uphold the organization’s vision and values.
• Manage and motivate the team to achieve objectives.
• Manage contracts with industrial customers and distributors.
• Ensure timely collections from distributors within specified credit limits.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of export/import sales experience in the frozen food industry, including leadership roles and exposure to different geographies in Vietnam.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting related to the import/export process & regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with proficient analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in both written and verbal English, Vietnamese, and preferred Chinese.
• Willingness to travel, as and when required.
