About the Company: a well-known medical devices company is seeking a Sales Manager reports to Chief Rep and leads the Southern Vietnam Sales organization in alignment with business strategy, defines long-term vision and translate it into actionable plans. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets, expand market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and lead the sales team toward high performance. The role involves managing sales in hospitals, clinics and distributors.
Job Description:
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Define sales targets and KPIs for sales representatives and area managers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand into untapped markets or customer segments.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop the sales team to ensure strong market coverage and sales effectiveness.
- Supervise daily sales operations, coach team members, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Key Account & Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients such as hospitals, clinics, beauty centers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Support the team in negotiations, contract discussions, and closing strategic deals.
- Ensure excellent customer service and post-sales support in collaboration with the service team.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for product positioning and marketing initiatives.
Forecasting & Budget Management
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and manage the sales budget efficiently.
- Track performance against targets and report key results and variances to management.
- Optimize spending on sales activities, marketing support, and client engagement events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Clinical Application, Technical Service, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in scientific events, trade shows, and exhibitions to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical equipment, medical devices, including at least 2 – 3 years in managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of medical device sales processes and market dynamics in Vietnam.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with doctors and key decision-makers.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to develop sales forecasts and business reports.
- Leadership and people development skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; good command of English is a plus.
