Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
• Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the pulp and paper industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to effectively execute sales strategies and achieve sales goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to support sales efforts and meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
• Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the pulp and paper industry.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of pulp and paper products, markets, and customer needs.
• Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable sales strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
