Role & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the pulp and paper industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the sales team to effectively execute sales strategies and achieve sales goals.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to support sales efforts and meet customer requirements.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the pulp and paper industry.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of pulp and paper products, markets, and customer needs.
Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable sales strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
