The Company:
Our client is a long-established international provider of tailored industrial solutions for the processing and manufacturing sectors. With a strong regional presence and expertise in delivering capital equipment and engineering services, the company supports clients in achieving efficiency, safety, and sustainability in their operations. They are now looking for a Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives in Vietnam, focusing on chemical, petrochemical, and energy-related industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote processing technologies and industrial solutions to clients in the chemical and energy sectors.
- Identify and nurture business opportunities with both new and existing customers, including multinational firms, and private sector players.
- Plan and implement targeted business development activities in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored proposals and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to refine sales strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Process Engineering) or Business; a background combining both will be highly regarded.
- 8–10 years of proven sales or business development experience in industrial equipment or project sales, ideally within the petrochemical, energy, or processing industries.
- Strong industry network and understanding of the local customer landscape, including experience working with both state-owned and private enterprises.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Technically competent with the ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese; additional language skills are a plus.
