Role & Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
o Generate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Customer Relationship Management:
o Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing clients.
o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.
o Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Sales Operations:
o Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
o Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue, profit margins, and market share.
• Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
o Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team’s sales skills and knowledge.
o Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of shipping and logistics operations and services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed.
