Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to drive new project acquisition within the manufacturing sector. This role is a pure hunter position, responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across a broad range of industrial customers, including both FDI and local enterprises.
The ideal candidate is commercially aggressive, highly autonomous, and experienced in navigating complex B2B sales cycles within industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Identify, target, and develop new customers within the manufacturing sector
- Proactively generate leads and build a strong project pipeline
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closing
- Project Sales Execution
- Engage with key decision-makers (procurement, technical, operations)
- Understand customer needs and position appropriate industrial solutions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals
- Market Expansion
- Expand market presence across assigned territory (North or South Vietnam)
- Develop strategic account penetration plans for high-potential prospects
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
- Internal Coordination
- Work closely with technical, application, and service teams to support project wins
- Ensure smooth handover post-sales where applicable
- Sales Performance
- Own and deliver assigned sales targets (revenue & pipeline KPIs)
- Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial/manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in hunting and winning new projects
- Strong experience in solution-based / technical sales
- Ability to engage with both commercial and technical stakeholders
- High level of ownership, resilience, and drive
- Fluent in Vietnamese; English is preferred for working with FDI clients
Preferred Profile
- Experience selling into manufacturing sectors (e.g., FMCG, electronics, heavy industry, etc.)
- Strong network within industrial zones / factories
- Familiar with long sales cycles and project-based selling
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
