Position Overview
The Sales & Service Director will be responsible for leading the commercial and technical service organization in Vietnam, driving sustainable revenue growth while ensuring best-in-class aftermarket service performance.
This role requires a strong leader with a solid technical foundation, excellent business acumen, and the ability to build high-performing sales and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute sales strategy aligned with regional and global objectives
- Drive revenue growth across equipment sales and aftermarket segments
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic key accounts
- Strengthen long-term partnerships with major industrial clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
2. Aftermarket Sales & Service Management
- Lead and develop the Service and Aftermarket Sales teams
- Ensure high service quality standards, response time, and customer satisfaction
- Drive growth in spare parts, maintenance contracts, retrofits, and upgrades
- Optimize service profitability and operational efficiency
- Implement service KPIs and performance tracking systems
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Build, coach, and retain a strong Sales and Service organization
- Develop succession planning and talent development roadmap
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-centric culture
- Ensure alignment between commercial and technical teams
4. Operational & Financial Management
- Manage P&L responsibility for the Vietnam entity
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and EU quality standards
- Coordinate closely with regional HQ and global technical teams
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or related field)
- MBA is a strong advantage
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in machinery, automation, or industrial equipment
- Proven track record in leading both Sales and Service teams
- Strong exposure to aftermarket business model
- Experience managing P&L and driving business growth
- Experience working in multinational / European companies preferred
