The Company: Our Client is an iconic inspection brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Testing Operations & Quality Assurance
- Supervise daily RSL testing activities, ensuring tests are accurate and reports are released on time.
- Review and validate test results, correct errors, and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
2. Standards, Compliance & Improvement
- Stay updated with new testing standards, methods, and customer demands.
- Ensure laboratory readiness (people, processes, equipment) and drive continuous improvement through corrective/preventive actions.
3. Training & People Development
- Organize and deliver training on testing procedures, standards, and reporting.
- Coach and evaluate staff technical skills; support customer training when needed.
4. Customer & Cross-Functional Support
- Provide timely technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure reports meet technical and service requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Textile-related field.
- Certificates: ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in textile/garment testing and laboratory operations.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of textile/garment testing methods; ability to interpret technical reports and English documents; hands-on experience with lab equipment (AAS, ICP, GCMS, LCMS, FTIR).
- Skills: Leadership, people management, communication, negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Capabilities: Able to train and develop staff, work independently and in teams, manage operations under pressure, and provide proactive, detail-oriented solutions.
