The Company: A global leader in industrial automation, our client pioneers smart manufacturing through advanced robotics. They’re expanding in Vietnam and seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, program and integrate tailored robotic solutions that ensure performance, precision and reliability across industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer or project requirements to develop customized robotic solutions.
- Design system layouts and automation processes using industrial robots and peripherals.
- Program, simulate, and test robotic applications using dedicated software platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Support the commissioning of robotic systems at customer sites and provide technical guidance during installation and testing phases.
- Troubleshoot robotic systems and continuously improve performance, reliability, and safety.
- Document project deliverables, software versions, risk assessments, and user instructions.
- Stay updated on robotics trends and technologies to enhance innovation and solution design.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical and Electrical Automation).
- Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in industrial robotics programming, integration, and support.
- Proficiency in robot programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KRL, VAL3, or others depending on the platform).
- Experience with PLC integration, HMI, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
- Familiarity with simulation and offline programming tools (e.g., RobotStudio, Process Simulate, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation, testing, and support.
- Experience in automotive, electronics, or general manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to robotics and automation (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA).
- Understanding of vision systems, gripper design, or collaborative robotics is a plus.
