Role & Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including individual and team targets, to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
• Foster a customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service, resolving escalated customer issues promptly, and maintaining a positive shopping environment.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate product availability and assortment.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies, including product displays and promotions, to optimize sales and enhance the visual appeal of the retail space.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other key stakeholders in the building materials industry to drive business growth and expand market reach.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to execute promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives aimed at attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for senior management review.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in wholesale/retail sales, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Growth mindset with the ability to work as a team to achieve common goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
