Regional Finance Director

Our client is a rapidly expanding group operating across Vietnam and selected Southeast Asian markets.

This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing finance and accounting functions across multiple markets in Asia. The role will act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insights and driving performance to support both operational and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in compliance with international reporting standards and timelines.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and continuous improvement/ automation of reporting processes.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting cycles, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow planning.
• Implement and monitor cost control frameworks across production operations, including farms and related facilities.
• Support commercial decision-making through margin analysis and pricing strategies in collaboration with business leaders.
• Manage banking relationships and treasury activities to ensure liquidity and financial obligations are effectively handled.
• Partner with senior management to oversee capital expenditure and ensure investments are delivered within approved budgets.
• Enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities, including ERP optimization and process automation.

Requirements

• Strong leadership capabilities with a solid analytical mindset.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an international working environment, ideally within a multinational or cross-border structure.
• Fluent in English; familiarity with Southeast Asian markets and cultures is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing finance teams across multiple locations.
