Regional Finance Controller
About the job
Responsibilities:

Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of statutory, management, and consolidated financial reports, including a complete set of financial statements.

Review and validate Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, statutory submissions, audit requirements, and internal control frameworks (including banking controls, chop usage, and code of business conduct).

Manage cash flow and liquidity by coordinating funding needs with Regional and Corporate teams, preparing consolidated cash flow forecasts, and supervising banking operations.

Lead the monthly forecasting process and annual budgeting cycles for operating expenses and capital expenditures.

Provide clear variance analysis and insightful financial commentary to support management decision-making.

Align financial plans with overall business strategies by developing sound business cases and embedding initiative impacts into budgets and forecasts.

Analyze cost drivers and trends to set realistic P&L targets and performance metrics.

Partner with business stakeholders to investigate variances and implement corrective actions where needed.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost efficiency, process simplification, and productivity enhancement.

Implement control enhancements aligned with Supply Chain strategy to strengthen governance and risk management.
Reuqirements:
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in finance, statutory reporting, and corporate services.
- At least 5–7 years in a leadership role, managing multi-functional teams in a region (finance, administration, facilities).
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Project Management Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is highly valued.
- Hands on experience with ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle). Strong command of Excel and BI tools.
