R&D Innovation Manager

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a hands-on and forward-thinking R&D Innovation Manager to drive product development and innovation initiatives. This role will be responsible for leading end-to-end development projects, enhancing existing offerings, and delivering commercially viable solutions aligned with market needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Development & Innovation

• Lead end-to-end development of new products from concept to commercialization
• Develop and optimize product formulations and prototypes
• Ensure product quality through testing, evaluation, and continuous refinement

2. Market & Consumer Insights

• Identify innovation opportunities through market trends, customer insights, and competitor analysis
• Translate insights into actionable product concepts aligned with business strategy

3. Project & Stakeholder Management

• Manage the innovation pipeline and ensure timely delivery of development projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain

4. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

• Provide guidance on materials, component interactions, and processing methods
• Troubleshoot development and production challenges with practical solutions

5. Continuous Improvement

• Enhance existing products in terms of quality, consistency, and cost efficiency
• Drive process improvements to increase development effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related disciplines
• 5–10 years of experience in product development, formulation, or innovation within food ingredients or related industries
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation principles, and product optimization
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or ingredient-focused environments is highly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally
• Innovative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
