Location: Flexible, with a focus on Vietnam and Cambodia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in garment manufacturing, with a specific focus on Vietnam and Cambodia. The Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring the technical and quality aspects of our products meet our clients’ expectations. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in leading and managing our team and supplier network to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical and quality teams to ensure that all products meet the required standards and specifications.
• Utilize extensive experience in garment manufacturing in Vietnam and Cambodia to drive continuous improvement in processes and practices.
• Collaborate closely with the sourcing team to select and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet our technical and quality requirements.
• Oversee the technical aspects of product development, including sample development, fit sessions, and garment construction.
• Conduct regular factory assessments and audits to monitor compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Develop and implement training programs for factory staff to improve technical skills and quality awareness.
• Serve as a technical advisor to internal teams and clients, providing guidance on garment construction, fabric selection, and production techniques.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams, to ensure alignment on technical and quality objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in garment manufacturing, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with a focus on woven apparel.
• Proven track record of leadership and management, with experience managing teams and suppliers across multiple locations.
• Extensive experience working in garment textile sourcing offices, with a deep understanding of sourcing processes and requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fit evaluation.
• Excellent understanding of quality control processes and tools, with a commitment to delivering products of the highest quality.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Vietnamese and/or Khmer is a plus.
