The Company
The Quality Manager – SEA will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems across manufacturing sites in the Southeast Asia region. This role ensures that all products meet customer expectations and comply with regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement in quality performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain regional quality management systems aligned with global standards.
- Lead and support quality teams at plant level across SEA countries.
- Monitor product quality and process control to ensure customer requirements are met consistently.
- Manage internal and external audits, supplier quality assessments, and regulatory inspections.
- Serve as the key contact point for major customers and global stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and reduce waste/scrap.
- Build and maintain a high-performing regional quality team through coaching and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Certified Quality Engineer, Affiliation with ASQ, or other related certifications and affiliations preferred.
- 5+ years manufacturing and engineering or related experience, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Sound engineering and people-leading skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and skills in project and program management, including 3rd parties.
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience preferred.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software.
- Strong math and analytical skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Strong scientific and engineering knowledge.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to be an advisor to clients and build strong and sustainable relationships.
- Skilled in team building and experience in effectively working with cross functional teams.
