As the Technical Manager for Plastic Packaging Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the technical aspects of our manufacturing processes. This includes leading a team of technical professionals, ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and staying abreast of industry advancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic packaging manufacturing, technical leadership skills, and a focus on driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
o Provide strategic technical direction for plastic packaging manufacturing operations.
o Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, including engineers and technicians.
o Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in plastic packaging manufacturing.
2. Quality Assurance:
o Develop and implement comprehensive quality control measures for plastic packaging products.
o Monitor and analyze quality data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
3. Process Optimization:
o Evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and innovations.
o Drive initiatives for waste reduction and sustainable manufacturing practices.
4. Technical Documentation:
o Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
o Ensure that technical documentation aligns with industry standards and customer requirements.
5. Collaboration:
o Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
o Provide technical support to address production challenges and contribute to timely issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Plastics Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the plastic packaging manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of plastic processing technologies, materials, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a technical team
