QC Inspector - Toys (Remote)

The Company:
Our client is a reputable trading and sourcing partner with a long-standing presence in the toy and consumer goods industry, and ambitious plans to enhance supply chain quality and compliance across the Asia Pacific region.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inspection schedule directly with assigned factories.
- Conduct product inspections in accordance with AQL standards.
- Identify defects, photograph findings, and complete formal Boley inspection reports.
- Immediately escalate FAIL results or serious issues to HQ.
- Perform basic safety testing (tension test, drop test, sharp points/edges) using provided tools.
- Assist in evaluating pre-production samples, signing samples, and process issues (e.g., injection, assembly, painting).
- Maintain clear digital archives of all reports and photo records.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ QC experience in plastic toy or consumer goods manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with children’s product safety requirements is a strong plus.
- Reliable transportation for factory visits.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Language: Good communication skills in English OR Chinese.
Other Information:

Remote working arrangement – candidate must have a simple, clean testing space (approx. 5 – 10 sqm).

Testing equipment (e.g., drop tester, tension gauge) will be provided and shipped to the inspector’s location.

Inspector is responsible for proper use and maintenance of all testing tools.
