With a commitment to quality and excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Manager to join our team and drive the highest standards in product quality and compliance.
As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within our packaging manufacturing operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of quality professionals, implement robust quality management systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and deliver high-quality packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
o Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality practices throughout the product lifecycle.
2. Quality Management Systems:
o Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
o Establish and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation to support a robust QA framework.
3. Process Improvement:
o Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize overall product quality.
o Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
4. Supplier and Vendor Quality Management:
o Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain strong quality partnerships.
o Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
o Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to packaging and ensure the organization’s compliance.
o Work closely with regulatory affairs to address any compliance concerns and support product registrations.
6. Quality Metrics and Reporting:
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of quality initiatives.
o Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance and improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline). Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior quality management role within the packaging industry.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and industry-specific quality standards.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performance quality teams.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
