Responsibilities:

• Technical and Operational Oversight:
  • Lead technical and operational aspects of the Steel & Iron Making business on site, ensuring maximum value and benefit to the company.
  • Resolve technical issues and enhance operations through proactive planning and improvement initiatives.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Foster strong customer relationships by solving problems promptly and implementing relationship management strategies to prevent complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Business and Inventory Planning:
  • Develop annual operational and inventory plans by analyzing customer trends, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring efficient stock control systems.
  • Monitor refractory cost, consumption, and deliveries, ensuring adherence to company standards to maximize profitability.
• Performance and Sales Forecasting:
  • Set performance targets and establish annual sales budgets, forecasting expected volumes and profits for existing and new products.
  • Manage market share, new product trials, and pricing strategies by staying current with industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Organize and lead the team to achieve customer satisfaction and company goals, mentoring and evaluating employees to enhance performance and address any HR issues.
• Site Management and Safety:
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring quality, performance, and safety standards are met for assigned areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering
• 5-10 years of managerial experience in heavy industries (Oil & Gas, Thermal Plant, Wind Farm,…) particularly in site operations or project management
• Proficient in English and Vietnamese.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive experience in ensuring occupational safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior management.
• Proficient in time management and multitasking.
