Production Supervisor (Chinese Speaking)

The Company: Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturing company in the electronics sector, operating with high production standards, strong engineering discipline, and a continuous improvement culture in Vietnam.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Production & Performance
- Supervise daily assembly operations to achieve productivity, efficiency, output, and OTD targets.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs including output volume, cycle time, defect rate, and downtime.
- Ensure production activities comply with the master plan, SOPs, and quality standards.
2. Manpower & Line Management
- Allocate manpower based on skills and production needs; implement line balancing to maximize efficiency.
- Lead, train, coach, and evaluate operators, line leaders, and team leaders.
- Resolve daily manpower and performance issues such as absenteeism, low productivity, and discipline cases.
3. Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with QA/QC, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure quality and delivery objectives.
- Review daily and weekly production reports and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Actively participate in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree: in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (assembly preferred).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and shop-floor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High responsibility, hands-on attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Chinese (Mandatory) – effective speaking and listening skills to work directly with Chinese experts. English: Basic to working level for reports and internal communication.
