About the job
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Factory Operations Management
-
Oversee the overall operation of the factory, including Production, Engineering, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Administration.

Ensure production schedules are met in alignment with business goals and customer demands.
2. Strategic Planning & Execution
-
Develop short-term and long-term production strategies, plans, and budgets to achieve company objectives.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost.
3. System & Process Development
-
Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standard operating processes to ensure consistent performance.

Monitor compliance with quality standards, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Human Resource & Team Development
-
Manage and allocate manpower across departments to ensure efficiency and performance.

Work closely with HR to recruit, train, and evaluate staff through KPI systems and career development programs.
5. Cost Control & Resource Utilization
-
Control production costs and minimize wastage of materials, labor, and resources.

Ensure effective use and maintenance of all factory equipment and assets.
6. Coordination & Reporting
-
Collaborate with internal departments (Planning, Procurement, Sales, Finance) to ensure seamless workflow.

Prepare regular reports on production progress, product quality, inventory, and equipment status.

Report to the Board of Directors on operational performance and propose improvement plans.
7. Safety, Environment & Compliance
-
Enforce factory rules, labor regulations, and safety standards (Fire Safety, EHS, Security, 5S).

Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Management, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Manager / Senior Production Manager managing 200 employees. Proven background in electrical lighting, consumer electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent planning, execution, and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and factory management tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
