As part of their growth strategy, they are looking for an experienced Production & CI Manager to lead production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives in Vietnam.
Role & Responsibilities
Production Operations

Develop actionable strategies to enhance production efficiency and output quality.

Supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure production targets and timelines are consistently met.

Analyze key performance data and initiate improvement plans to address deviations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new production technologies and refine workflow layouts for better productivity.
-
Ensure production complies with internal standards and external certifications.
-
Maintain accurate and updated technical documentation, including process guidelines and operational manuals.
Continuous Improvement

Lead efforts to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and optimize production costs using structured CI tools.

Investigate recurring operational issues and propose long-term preventive measures.

Build awareness and engagement in CI practices among team members, encouraging a culture of innovation.
Health, Safety & Environment
-
Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with legal regulations.

Identify workplace hazards, conduct regular risk assessments, and implement corrective measures to enhance employee safety.

Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring lessons learned are effectively communicated.
Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance teams to align preventive and corrective maintenance activities with production schedules.

Confirm maintenance plans are properly executed to minimize equipment downtime.
Quality Assurance Support

Work with QA teams to create and maintain documentation related to production quality standards.

Facilitate training to ensure production staff understand and adhere to quality requirements.
Team Leadership & People Development

Manage, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Conduct regular staff evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify skill gaps.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related technical field.

Significant experience in production management and process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
-
Solid understanding of safety regulations, quality systems, and production best practices.
-
Practical knowledge of CI tools (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, etc.).
-
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-
Fluent in Vietnamese and English.

Proficiency in common office software and production management tools.
