Job Purpose:

This role plays a critical part in building and strengthening the Apparel function within a large multinational organization. The Fabric Sourcing Manager and Product Development Manager will work as core leadership pillars to develop a high-performing Apparel team, drive fabric and product innovation, and establish robust sourcing and development capabilities aligned with global standards. These positions are essential in supporting business growth, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and elevating product quality, speed-to-market, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product development from concept through sampling and production
• Manage sample development, fit reviews, construction evaluation, and technical coordination
• Provide design and technical advice on fabric, garment construction, quality, and compliance
• Research market and fashion trends to guide product direction
• Coordinate with sourcing, purchasing, and production teams to ensure timely delivery
• Oversee product quality, costing, compliance, and reliability standards
• Lead and support product development teams in a fast-paced, global environment
• Partner cross-functionally to support business growth and new product initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any discipline; Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising, or related fields is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development, sourcing, or merchandising
• Strong product and material knowledge with solid development and merchandising process expertise
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Well-organized with strong problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
