About the job: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Planning Manager to oversee production and material planning operations. The role is critical in aligning supply capabilities with customer demands through effective planning, scheduling, and order management. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely product delivery.
Role & Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling:

Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasts, capacity, and inventory targets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans with business goals.

Monitor and adjust plans proactively to optimize production flow and resource utilization.
Material Planning:

Execute material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

Work closely with procurement to manage purchase plans and prevent material shortages or overstock.

Regularly review and analyze MRP outputs to maintain balanced inventory levels.
Order & Delivery Management:

Manage the complete order lifecycle from order intake to production allocation and delivery planning.

Ensure on-time, in-full delivery by aligning with customer expectations and coordinating with logistics teams.

Address order-related issues and drive cross-functional resolutions.
Inventory & Accuracy:

Monitor and control inventory to support service levels and working capital goals.

Drive improvements in planning accuracy and support reconciliation/cycle count processes.

Utilize planning systems to track inventory metrics and accuracy KPIs.
Reporting & Process Optimization:

Provide planning performance reports (e.g., OTIF, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy).

Participate in projects to enhance planning processes or implement new systems and tools.

Ensure planning data integrity in ERP and planning platforms.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

At least 5–8 years of experience in production and material planning.

Hands-on experience with MRP/MPS systems; MES knowledge is a plus.

Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.

Proficient in Excel and ERP/planning tools (Power BI is an advantage).

Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
