PCBA Operations Manager

The Company: Our client is a globally established manufacturer within the EMS industry, supporting international customers with advanced production capabilities, efficient manufacturing operations, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end production planning and execution across SMT, insertion, and assembly processes to ensure on-time delivery aligned with PCBA order requirements
- Optimize SMT equipment utilization, production lines, and material flow to improve efficiency and minimize waste
- Drive process optimization across the full PCBA workflow (solder paste printing, placement, reflow, insertion, wave soldering, assembly) to enhance yield and productivity
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and continuous defect reduction in production
- Manage and develop production teams, ensuring strong performance, 5S implementation, and workplace safety compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to support new product introduction (NPI) and production alignment
- Control and execute production budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities through lean manufacturing practices
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in SMT/PCBA production management within EMS or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong expertise in SMT and PCBA processes, including placement, reflow soldering, insertion, and assembly
- Proven track record in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and data-driven problem-solving
- Solid leadership, communication, and team management capabilities
- Detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, and execution-driven mindset
- Language: Fluent in Chinese (working level), with basic English proficiency
