The Company:

Our client is one of the leading building materials brands, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy:

    • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within civil engineering industry.

    • Develop and implement a strategic plan to target key markets and segments.

  • Specification Development:

    • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project developers to promote and specify our products in project designs.

    • Create and maintain relationships with specifiers and influencers within the industry.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as their applications in projects.

    • Provide technical support and training to specifiers and customers.

  • Project Management:

    • Identify and track upcoming civil engineering projects where our products can be specified.

    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure our products meet project requirements.

  • Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.

    • Negotiate and close specification contracts and agreements.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, specifiers, and key industry stakeholders.

    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering or a related field. Mandarin speaking is preferred.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or specification management within the building materials industry.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
