National Sales Director

The National Sales Director will be responsible for leading nationwide sales organization. This role will define and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives to achieve sustainable revenue growth and expand market share across all product lines. The incumbent will oversee regional sales managers, district managers, and sales representatives, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds sales targets through effective leadership, training, and performance management.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement national sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Set sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for regions, product lines, and sales teams.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, new therapeutic segments, and product potential.
- Drive year‐over‐year revenue growth and profitability.
- Monitor and optimize product mix and pricing in collaboration with marketing and product management.
- Expand market share in existing territories, and penetrate new markets or regions.

- Maintain and grow relationships with key customers: wholesalers, distributors, pharmacies, hospitals, clinics.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate major contracts, agreements, and tenders.
- Prepare and manage sales budget, forecasts, expense plans across regions.
- Monitor P&L responsibility for sales function.
- Ensure efficient use of sales resources.
- Track and report key metrics: sales numbers, growth, pipeline, territory performance, margins.
- Use data to make decisions and course‐correct when needed.
- Provide regular reports to senior management.

- Work closely with Marketing, Regulatory, Product Development, Supply Chain to ensure launch plans, product availability, trainings, and promotions are well coordinated.
- Provide feedback from the field into new product development, packaging, or promotional strategies.
Job Responsibility:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related). An advanced degree (MBA or Masters) is a plus.
- At least 8-10 years in pharmaceutical sales, with progressive responsibility.
- Prior experience in leading a national sales team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large sales operations.
- Experience with ETC / OTC / functional foods / supplements is helpful given the portfolio
- Strong leadership & people management skills.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset, ability to interpret sales data, market data.
- Good understanding of distribution channels in Vietnam.
- Ability to travel, flexible schedule.
- Integrity, results‐oriented, resilient, proactive, collaborative, ability to lead change.
