Our client is one of a leading medical company in the world. The KA Specialist is responsible for developing and managing sales performance in pharmacy chains and independent pharmacy outlets, ensuring optimal product availability, visibility, and sell-out execution in line with company strategies. This role works closely with distributors, pharmacy partners, and internal teams to drive sustainable growth in the retail channel.
Job Descriptions:
1. Sales & Channel Development
- Develop and execute sales plans for pharmacy chains and retail pharmacies to achieve revenue and coverage targets.
- Manage assigned pharmacy chains (modern trade) and key independent pharmacy accounts.
- Expand distribution and improve product penetration across retail outlets.
- Negotiate commercial terms, promotions, listing, and in-store programs with pharmacy partners.
2. Distributor & Field Execution Management
- Coordinate closely with distributors and sales representatives to ensure effective retail execution.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, sell-in / sell-out, and trade compliance.
- Ensure proper implementation of trade marketing programs at store level.
3. Trade Marketing & In-Store Excellence
- Implement POSM, promotions, visibility, and merchandising standards in pharmacy outlets.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal programs in the retail channel.
- Work with Marketing to adapt materials suitable for pharmacy retail environment.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Collect and analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in retail pharmacies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to management.
- Track KPIs such as numeric distribution, weighted distribution, sell-out growth, and promo effectiveness.
5. Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with pharmacy owners, chain headquarters, pharmacists, and key decision makers.
- Act as the key contact point between the company and retail partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and pharmaceutical regulations in Vietnam.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Pharmacy background is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, retail channel, or pharmacy chain management.
- Proven experience working with pharmacy chains (e.g., Long Châu, Pharmacity, An Khang,…) and/or independent pharmacies is highly preferred.
- Experience in OTC / Consumer Health / Ethical products in retail channel is a plus.
