Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Designer within the Electrification business, you will play a vital role in developing and modifying standard equipment, systems, or installations. This includes crafting standard specifications for manufacturing, focusing on assignments of low to medium complexity while applying standard design principles:

  • Create engineering solutions, encompassing drawings and calculations according to specifications. Participate in design reviews and verification processes, making necessary modifications to designs.
  • Adhere to work plans and cost estimates for assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery of quality results within targeted costs.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments and implement corresponding actions within your area of responsibility. Report any contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management for resolution.
  • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of design assignments.
  • Assist in communication with customers regarding specific project design assignments or meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
  • Over 2-5 years of experience in designing electrical switchgear, compact substations, or related products.
  • Proficiency in designing sheet metal.
  • Mastery of SolidWorks software.
  • Ability to work independently and methodically, even under pressure.
  • Exceptional coordination skills with internal teams and customers.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to comprehend technical documents.
