Our client is a leading multinational consumer products company with a portfolio of well-known brands and a strong presence across global markets. As part of its continued growth strategy in Vietnam, the company is seeking a senior marketing leader to drive business growth, strengthen market leadership, and elevate brand performance across multiple product categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the country marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with regional and global business priorities.
- Own the annual marketing planning process, translating business objectives into actionable growth initiatives and marketing roadmaps.
- Drive market share, revenue, and profitability growth through effective portfolio management, brand building, pricing, and commercial activation.
- Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of growth strategies.
- Champion consumer and customer-centric thinking by leveraging market insights, research, and competitive intelligence to shape strategic decisions.
- Lead the development of category, channel, and customer strategies to maximize business opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Oversee product portfolio performance, including innovation launches, lifecycle management, and value proposition development.
- Manage marketing investment budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources with clear measurement of business impact and return on investment.
- Drive integrated communication and activation programs across consumer and trade channels to strengthen brand equity and commercial performance.
- Provide strategic recommendations on pricing, portfolio optimization, and growth opportunities based on market dynamics and consumer behavior.
- Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders while representing local market perspectives in broader business discussions.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing organization, fostering strong capability development and succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience within leading multinational FMCG or consumer-focused organizations.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles with responsibility for business growth and team management.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful brand, category, and commercial growth strategies.
- Experience managing multiple product categories and complex go-to-market environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in consumer insights, portfolio management, pricing, innovation, and integrated marketing planning.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance brand-building objectives and business performance.
- Experience working within matrix organizations and collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
