Junior Accountant
About the job
Our client is an investment firm which looks for emerging growth companies based in Asia Pacific. We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join a young and dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping for management company, advisory entities and the holding company based in various jurisdictions: Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Japan and Vietnam.
- Learn the financial rules from Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and apply to Keyrock Hong Kong company as appropriate.
- Receive, review, refute or confirm expenses for: research expenses, company expenses, employee expenses and fund expenses.
- Participate in the payments process.
- Assist COO & Senior Accounting Analyst to answer questions from the corporate company’s auditors.
- Test software to add efficiency to corporate company’s processes.
- Assist Accounting Analyst and COO with corporate tax work and legal structuring research as needed.
- Work with Senior Accounting Analyst to prepare and review the investment product expenses accruals and communicate them to the administrator for the products.
Requirement:
- Bachelor of Accounting.
- Experience with bookkeeping/audit for corporate service company or a financial services company (ideally 1 – 2 years).
- Advanced English
