Investment, Head/ Senior Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are representing a well-established international real estate developer currently expanding its investment footprint in Vietnam. The company is seeking a Head/Senior Manager of Investment to lead end-to-end investment activities for residential projects, from deal sourcing through to licensing and early-stage development.

This role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s growth strategy in Vietnam and building a high-performing investment team alongside expanding project pipelines.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Head/Senior Manager of Investment will be responsible for the overall leadership and execution of investment activities, including project sourcing, joint venture structuring, due diligence, financial evaluation, and securing project approvals.

This position reports directly to the Vietnam CEO and works closely with regional/global investment teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Sourcing & Deal Execution

• Identify and originate new residential investment opportunities through developers, brokers, and landowners

• Conduct comprehensive market and project analysis, including financial modeling, legal due diligence, and risk assessment

• Develop acquisition strategies, prepare term sheets, and lead pre-investment processes

• Lead end-to-end deal execution, including negotiation, structuring, and closing

Due Diligence & Investment Approval

• Oversee full due diligence process across legal, financial, and technical aspects

• Prepare detailed investment reports for internal approval committees

• Support contract structuring and documentation

Project Development & Licensing

• Manage early-stage project development to secure key approvals and permits

• Coordinate with joint venture partners, consultants, and relevant stakeholders

• Ensure smooth transition from investment phase to development execution

Financial Management & Capital Strategy

• Monitor project financial performance and continuously update financial models

• Support funding strategy and maintain relationships with financial institutions

Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

• Prepare periodic market insights and reports to support business decisions

• Co-develop short- and long-term business strategies with the CEO

Stakeholder Management & Representation

• Act as a key representative of the company with government authorities, partners, and the financial community

• Build and maintain strong industry networks

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing investment team

• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration

Other Responsibilities

• Undertake additional strategic assignments as required by senior leadership

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in real estate investment, with a strong focus on residential projects

• Proven track record in sourcing and executing real estate deals independently

• Strong network within the real estate ecosystem (developers, brokers, authorities, etc.)

• Solid experience in financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring

• Strategic mindset with strong leadership and entrepreneurial spirit

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines
