The Company:
An established multinational FMCG company is currently looking for a passionate and strategic-minded Indirect Procurement Manager to join their Vietnam team. This role plays a vital part in driving procurement efficiency, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration in line with global standards.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories—from idea generation to implementation and tracking of savings.
- Manage purchasing transactions locally, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and internal business needs to provide strong category insights.
- Mitigate supply risk via contingency planning, dual sourcing, contracts, and vendor performance KPIs.
- Lead local cost optimization and productivity initiatives.
- Support new product initiatives by capturing ideas from suppliers and facilitating local rollout efforts.
- Take charge of contract lifecycle management including negotiation, compliance, and performance tracking.
- Optimize working capital through improved payment terms and order planning.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee supplier development and performance, including vendor evaluations and preferred supplier setup.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in English
